Accountant - Sr.Compensation:
$65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year

The Senior Accountant furthers the company's goals through the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow, as well as the creation of budgets and forecasts, preparation of audits, and management of internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities - Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests - Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Produce monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes - Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors
- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - Current and relevant ERP system experience - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - Strong time management skills preferred - 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - Solid understanding of QuickBooks - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
