This Executive Director position serves as a consultant to both management and employees on clinical and nursing related issues. The successful Executive Director acts as a resource and advisor to employees and managers. The role listens, advises, and reports on operationally focused issues to the Area Vice President of Operations. Communicating needs proactively to the Operations Team, the Executive Director works with the Clinical Leadership Team to develop and champion integrated solutions. The Executive Director maintains an effective level of business literacy and knowledge about Aveanna s culture and its competition.
Determine staffing needs
Performance management Conduct/Oversee the processes:
Communicate job expectations
Set and model quality and customer service standards
Communication of and compliance with Aveanna s Code of Conduct and Policies and Procedures
In collaboration with the Clinical Director, conduct intake interviews with new client families
Proactive follow up with families monitoring quality of service levels
Incident Management/Issue Resolution
Plan and implement branch growth strategies
Thorough review of financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
Consistently meet reporting deadlines
Branch compliance with federal and state regulations
In collaboration with the CRD/CRA, visits with the various referral sources
Oversight of client information communicated to CBO for billing purposes
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over a team Client Services Coordinators, Client Services Supervisors and Client Services Managers
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand
Approximately 10%, travel is local during the business day with occasional overnight travel as needed
Required Education and Experience
High school Diploma, College Degree Preferred
Ability to organize, plan and delegate properly in a fast pace environment
Two to three years of management experience preferred
Experience in Home Healthcare or Pediatrics a plus
