Title Healthcare Social Worker Location McLean, VA 22102 Duration 6 Months Description The Quality Assurance (QA) Social Service Administrator supports the Client by performing all duties related to assessing, reporting and monitoring adherence to the regulatory, licensing, and Medicaid certification requirements for which Client use disorder providers on place are responsible. This incumbent will work with Clientrsquos leaders and other staff, partners, providers and stakeholders to facilitate the timely completion of relevant activities per licensing and certification standards and Client lsquos procedures and guidelines. Roles Responsibilities Monitor, collect and evaluate data on service or program delivery. Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding progress with program goals and objectives, service delivery, and programservice success in meeting standards and regulations. Analyze areas of concern and apply relevant policies, procedures and strategies. Provide consultation to community providers, stakeholders, and Clientrsquos staff. Assist in developing new policies, procedures, regulations and monitoring tools. Liaison between Clientrsquos staff and other agencies, and community organizations. Assess the programmatic and financial impact of proposed rulesregulations on operations. Address requests for information and questions regarding services. Provide technical assistance and recommend course of action as appropriate. Assist with special programs and projects. Required Qualification Graduate of a college or university with a degree in public administration, social science, or related field Valid driverrsquos license and transportation required. Required Experience Experience with regulatory compliance monitoring preferred. 3 yearsrsquo experience in health or human services work such as applying theories, principles, laws and practices of health or human services programs and services that assist with and improve life for individuals, families, or communities such as financial support, employment, unemployment, housing, health care, disease prevention, substance abuse, child protective services, physicalmental health treatment and prevention or rehabilitation. Six months experience in health or human services program administration such as overseeing and directing the development, implementation and evaluation of health or human services programs and services planning and establishing short and long-range program goals and objectives. Providing advice to other agency organizational units through consultation. Knowledge of research methods, statistics, evaluation design and qualitative program evaluation methods. Knowledge of the principles, practices and theory of healthcare, social services programs ,laws, and rules and regulations governing assigned program areas. Knowledge of the functions and resources of community, health and related social service agencies. Knowledge of social, economic and health factors and the manner in which they affect the social behavior of individuals and families. Skill in computer applications. Experience in research. Skill in analyzing, forecasting, problem solving, and organizing. Skill in program evaluation. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory personnel, staff, representatives for other service agencies, community organizations and associates. Ability to elicit information, evaluate findings and recommend corrective action. Ability to analyze current social, economic and health problems of different socio-economic groups and develop programservice to meet needs. Ability to express and present ideas and conclusions clearly, concisely and effectively. Ability to collect data through interviews and consultations.
